Colorectal cancer is a well-known and commonly diagnosed condition that affects both men and women, usually at age 50 or above. Cancer of the colon or rectum is thought to be the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States and is one of the most preventable.
Colon Screening for Life along with its many sponsors in the community would like to continue to advance its mission of education on the importance of early detection of colon cancer and spreading the message of prevention through regular screenings and a healthy lifestyle with events like the Colon Cancer Awareness Walk/Run.
